Blog Renewal: Upcoming Posts for 2018 and 2019
26th January 2019
I am happy to announce a renewal of this blog! For the rest of the fall and winter of 2018 to 2019, I will publish every other week on Tuesdays, according to the schedule listed below.
This past year (2018) was a busy year for me personally between my family and day job so I let updating this blog and my galleries slip through the cracks. However, I did get out and shoot quite a bit and I have some work that I want to share.
Focus of the blog moving forward: The first audience will be landscape photographers of various levels who are looking to learn about how to apply photography skills, knowledge of the natural environment, and imagination to conceptualize evocative photographs while working in the dynamic field environment. In doing so I will integrate the stories of my adventures. My second audience is people who simply enjoy outdoor photography and adventure. Feel free just to scroll though the pictures if my narratives are not of interest, as the blog will offer my most recent photography.
Here is a preview of upcoming posts: you can click on the titles for those that are released
Tuesday Oct 30: Acadia Isle Au Haut: Can you find backpacking and solitude in Acadia National Park?

Tues Nov 13: Fall Foliage 2018 Part 1 Vermont: Chasing peak foliage in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont

Tues Nov 27 Fall Foliage 2018 Part 2 Peak foliage trip to Acadia National Park

Tues Dec 11 Fall Foliage 2018 Part 3 New Hampshire: This year’s favorite shots from my home state (New Hampshire)

Tues Jan 1 Winter Photography Ideas, Tips, and Preview

TBD New Hampshire Appalachian Trail-- In 2018 I finally completed the 162 miles of trail through my home state. I got more serious about photographing it too. Some segments I have hiked over a dozen times. Here is a photographer’s view of the AT through NH and some ideas on how to photograph it.

TBD Arizona— My favorite unreleased shots from prior trips to the region. Travel planning for late winter or early spring trips.

TBD California— A wrap up from a summer trip through the Sierra Nevada’s and Point Reyes. Tips of visiting and photographing the region in the summer.
