Detail in Arethusa Falls

The 140 foot drop of Arethusa Falls in Crawford Notch is generally regarded as the single biggest drop in a waterfall in New Hampshire. I visited it on the first day of fall and found the low water flow revealed the wonderful detail and symmetry in the rock.
