I took this shot nearly a decade ago while climbing the NH 48 4000 footers in winter. I had only a low grade DSLR and a kit lens. On the summit I got lucky when this Canada Jay perched on a beautiful, stunted spruce coated in rime ice, seemingly aligning its beak with the way the trees were pointing.
