Seven foot snowdrift in the Presidential Range

Fierce cold (-5 degrees air, -30 windchill) and winds on Mt. Pierce the other day created a beautiful landscape of snowdrifts up to 7 feet high, like this one that blocked the trail near the junction of the Crawford Path and Webster Cliff Trail (also part of the Appalachian Trail).
