Song of Spring

Red Wing Blackbird at Lake Apopka North Shore preserved land, Florida. This red wing blackbird caught my attention not just for its song, but for the way I could use the fence to convey the movement of time to spring. Of course this was shot in Florida in February. That is their spring. Many of their trees lose leaves for the winter, and February was peak budding and pollen season. If you could see this shot in full resolution , you can see all of the pollen on the redwing blackbird!
