Sunset view from Mt. Garfield

The view West from the summit ledges towards the backside of Franconia Ridge reveals the route of the Appalachian Trail southbound. This 4500' summit is located along the Appalachian Trail and is one of it's scenic highlights. The sunset was a dud due to haze on the horizon, but I did like the composition and the way the sun illuminated the freshly leafed out greens on the slopes of Mt. Lafayette.
