Island Reflection Basin Pond Pond

Want to find a fall foliage landscape composition that other people haven't yet? Get in a kayak and paddle around. That's how I found this one. Conditions were perfect that day as there was no wind making for nice reflections and a low fog shrouded the mountains to add atmosphere and even lighting. Just bump up your ISO a bit and shoot a little faster shutter speed than normal when shooting from a kayak as insurance against the natural bobbing around.
