Gaspe Peninsula, Quebec, Canada. I got the chance to visit Canada this year and witness what is likely the largest nesting colony of northern gannets in the world now, with 100,000 of these birds on this island. This one is securing nesting materials. You could get ethically and legally quite close to the gannets, but getting a clean shot with the birds literally nesting on top of each other was way harder than I would have imagined!
