August: Deer crossing island to island in "the Loon Pond"

One of the best surprises of my loon project was this deer. Twice I encountered her swimming from island to island in my favorite loon pond right in front of me while I was in my kayak! On the second encounter, she paused to look at the loon who swam right in front of her. This shot came after the loon swam away and the deer decided to continue her journey.
